IPR Details - Nokia Corporation's Statement about IPR related to RFC 6386
Nokiaが保有する特許の中で、VP8が抵触する特許の一覧を発表した。IETFがVP8について合意を得ようとしているこのタイミングにガツンと一撃食らわせた形だ。NokiaはMPEG LAに加入しておらず、またGoogleとライセンスする気もなさそうだ。
さっそくまとめて先例探しに燃えている人間がいる。
