Hewlett Packard 1670A Deep Memory Logic Analyzerという1992年のマシンに、Xサーバーに接続できる機能があるので、Linux Mint 15とe17で試してみたところ、なんと問題なく動いたそうだ。

なんと言うプロトコルの後方互換性。

    X11のコアプロトコルってこの25年間一度も更新されてないので当然といえば当然な話ですな
